Ginger and Baker

I was very excited to play a role in the  Ginger and Baker restoration project. Ginger wanted to incorporate as many of the original building materials as possible to honor the rich history of the original Northern Colorado Feeders Supply building built in the very early 1900s.

My contributions included designing a custom two-story chandelier made with pulley wheels from the original feed store and designing custom-built shelving, tables and chalkboards utilizing reclaimed wood from the building. I created an inspirational baking wall using vintage dough bowls along with a collection of pie tins that Ginger owned.

Art selection and display throughout the building was another element of this project. I mixed fine art oil paintings, giclees,  photographs printed on wood and a couple of antique clocks on the walls. While some of the photography was mine, I also collaborated with other Colorado artists to design custom display pieces.

I helped with the final selection of dining furniture and also sourced finishing touches such as floor coverings and succulent cups for the table tops.
